Arvest Bank Announces New ATM in Springfield

Wednesday, May 30 at 10:45 AM
Category: Arvest News

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce a new stand-alone ATM ready for use in the Springfield region.

The ATM is located at 2620 S. Glenstone Ave., in the Brentwood North Shopping Center. Additionally, it is a deposit image ATM, meaning customers can feed checks and cash directly into the machine without filling out a deposit slip or using a deposit envelope. In the instance of cash deposits, the advanced processing capability of deposit image ATMs allows for full credit access.

In the case of check deposits, the machine tallies the deposit and prints an image of the checks and total deposit amount on a receipt for the customer’s records. Information about the deposit is then transmitted electronically to the bank, speeding up the processing of the deposit and reducing the need for immediate pickup of the paper items.

“We are excited to open this ATM,” said Brad Crain, president for Arvest in Springfield. “We believe it will give our customers another banking option in an area where we weren’t previously represented. This is just another example of the ways in which we constantly research and evaluate the effectiveness of our branch and ATM locations.”

Arvest recently worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Missouri to sponsor the wish of 12-year-old Lillian from Springfield, Mo.

Lillian, or “Lilly” as her friends call her, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Despite her condition, Lilly has maintained a positive attitude and strong spirit. Lilly enjoys reading comic book novels, playing games and making art.

Lilly’s wish is to go on a Disney Cruise, and Arvest is honored to be making her wish come true.
